In celebrations of the 800th anniversary of the University of Padua, its Botanical Garden offers a series of summer events. Summertime in the Garden links the theme of Freedom, Libera la Natura (Free Nature) by offering the public a ‘live’ viewing of the Botanical Garden and its collection. Each event shares secrets of the plant world from this unique place and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Dance, music, poetry, guided tours, educational workshops, a botanical aperitif, and – for the first time – the possibility of spending the night on the grounds of the Garden. Each event offers a unique and engaging experience that will stimulate your senses through different voices and original perspectives.
