LiberaMente – FreeMind

In celebration of the University of Padua’s 800th Anniversary (1222-2022), the Church of Padua will participate in several events to honour this historic centennial. Each event becomes a precious moment to reflect upon the depth of the relationship between the two central institutions.

Organized around its title LiberaMente each event pays reference to the University’s motto: Universa Universis Patavina Libertas while inviting students and teachers to approach studying with a free mind that is open and passionate as they search for truth. The schedule of events aims to promote the integral development of each participant ensuring that everyone feels welcomed.

Freeing the mind from personal and social obstacles, to build a common community. An alliance that generates peace, justice, and acceptance between all peoples by promoting a dialogue between religious institutions and those who have experienced various forms of rejection.

A schedule of events that invites the community to get to know, appreciate and participate in a history based on an open culture beyond the scope of traditional institutions but from those across the globe.
