Commemorating 800 years of history with the Ottocento Rosso, Ottocento Bianco, and Ottocento Spumante wine initiative.
The exclusive Ottocento Rosso red wine, produced in collaboration with Praglia Abbey Winery, celebrates the University of Padua’s 800th Anniversary within each one of the 10,000 bottles produced. The grapes combine the best varieties found in the Veneto Region, aged to perfection in wooded barrels for a high-quality taste that can be stored and enjoyed for years to come.
The Ottocento Bianco is a pure Manzoni DOC white wine produced by the historic Cerletti Institute Winery for which the University of Padua shares its Conegliano Wine Campus. The Ottocento Spumante is a sparkling white Prosecco DOCG, supplied by the Consorzio di tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, for whom the University has long collaborated with.
This initiative confirms the strong relationship that the University enjoys with the local territory.
