Scholares Vagantes, the cycling relay through the oldest universities in Europe, will start from Oxford on 21 April 2022 and it will arrive in Padua on 18 June 2022.
A route and a European experience to be given as inheritance to future generations, in the name of the founding values of the University and as a collective thought over the future waiting for us. An active message dealing with sustainability and promoting values of sport, health, wellness, mobility and international collaboration.
The University of Padua will cross, with traditional bikes and its nine cycling teams, four countries: (Great Britain, France, Spain and finally Italy) involving six of the ancient Universities in Europe – Oxford, Cambridge, Paris Sorbonne, Salamanca, Bologna, Padua.
A total of 4,475 km will be covered, 75 km per day on average, 60 days of travel.
