The Open Nature series of activities held at Villa Parco Bolasco between September and October of 2022, Omne offers a rich schedule of event including a concert with Enrico Malatesta and a sound performance by Attila Faravelli. Enrico Malatesta is an active percussionist in experimental research fields between music and performing arts, while Attila Faravelli is an electroacoustic sound artist and musician.

Éliane Radigue, Occam Ocean – Occam XXVI
Concert (45 minutes)

Malatesta presents the work of the well-known French electronic music composer Éliane Radigue. Sharing her poetic process that is created through an intimate process of direct transmission by sharing the aesthetic and musical intensity of perception. Radigue became an master of acoustic instruments with a strongly spiritual and emotional character who sing her experience with electronic instruments,. Her work transports the listener to the beyond made possible by the perpetual and changing movement of pure sound.

Sound Performance (45 minutes)

Since 2017 Attila Faravelli has been capturing mono field recordings, which he then broadcasts with a single speaker. The same tape recorder is used for both recording and playback, unfiltered by the absence of the artificial sense of space produced by stereo. Those listening feel the raw material texture of the recorded sound, as well as the acoustic response of the speaker and the specific space in which the diffusion is carried out.
