As part of the ‘Di palco in parco’ series of theatrical performances organized in collaboration with the Teatro Stabile del Veneto, the Barabao Teatro theatre company stages an animated story for audiences of children and all ages.

From the vast prairies of Kansas, Dorothy is suddenly whisked away by a tornado, finding herself catapulted into the Kingdom of the Great Wizard of Oz. And only the great Oz can help Dorothy find her way home. Through a long journey, Dorothy is joined by a Scarecrow, a Tin Man and a Cowardly Lion, as they search for the one item requested by powerful Oz in order to receive what they desire most. But, will our heroes be able to fulfill their wishes? Let’s find out together and be transported through the pages of one of the most famous children’s novels of all time.

Admission is free, reservations are not required. Marked by the Unipd 800 logo and signature colours, the performance is held at Largo Debussy.

Please bring a blanket/pillow to sit on.

In case of bad weather the show is hosted at Palazzo Bo (Aula Ederle), Padova.
