Homi K. Bhabha (Harvard University), literary and cultural critic and influential theorist of postcolonial culture, comes back for the Padua Freedom Lectures of the University of Padua, the most recent format of the Universa program created on the occasion of the celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the University.

The Padua Freedom Lecture Series invites Italian and international guests who are dedicated to the ideas of freedom, and for which is deeply ingrained in the spirit of the University of Padua, to be the heart of its motto “Universa Universis Patavina Libertas“.

The Freedom Lecture on March 17 will be given by the Indian philosopher will focus his speech on the multiform expressions of the concept of freedom in relation to the different cultural specificities that characterize the human race, with special attention to the fundamental role of the humanities in this regard.
