The first event which involves the University of Padua on the GirovagArte series as part of the University of Padua’s schedule of cultural activities, hosts Prof Telmo Pievani, philosopher of science and Delegate for Communication and Scientific Dissemination of the University of Padua.
Mattia Sopelsa, an il Bo Live journalist, interviews professor Pievani as he shares how the university has been a proponent of freedom of research over the centuries. Such freedom made the development of the scientific method possible as Galileo Galilei declared that his time in Padua and its university was the best 18 years of his life.
The proposed series includes events from the 2022 GirovagArte travelling cultural fair organized by the Municipality of Padua and neighbouring councils. The fair travels aboard a truck that brings musical and theatrical performances to various neighbourhoods, squares, and parks throughout the city.
Reservations are required to participate.
