Organized by the Galilean School Alumni Association in collaboration with the UniPD Alumni Association and the Friends of UniPD, the Academy Chiavi di Volta meeting entitled Traguardi e prospettive per le comunicazioni quantistiche takes place in the courtyard of Palazzo Bo.
The Academy is part of the third edition of the Chiavi di Volta Festival that takes place on October 8 as part of the University of Padua Science4All program held from September 26 to October 2 that includes hundreds of activities aimed at communicating science in a simple and fun way.
Hosted by the Director of the Padua Quantum Technologies Research Center, Paolo Villoresi, the meeting offers an illustration of the technologies currently under development, on the ground and in space, for quantum communications, offering perspectives on experiments on the foundation and application of subjects such as secure communication, quantum internet and the generation of random numbers.
The Galilean School Alumni Association will offer introductions and will moderate the meeting.
