As a part of L’occhio in gioco exhibition and in celebration of the 800th Anniversary of the University of Padua, the artist Alberto Biasi discusses his work with the curators of the exhibition in a publicly open event.
As one of the founding members of Gruppo N, which operated in Padua between 1960 and 1964, Alberto Biasi work is featured at L’Occhio in Gioco exhibition. Crossing generations of artistic expression, Biasi individual artistic production from the 1960s to today aims at the perceptual investigation that focuses on visual perception and interaction. Alberto Biasi offers consistent and significant research on Italian art that spans the second half of the twentieth century.
At this point in his career, the artist immerses us with lights and colours. The work of Biasi’s Tu sei is displayed at the MUSME – Museum of the History of Medicine in Padua as a side event of L’Occhio in Gioco. The work uses a device capable of dynamic interaction with its audience engaged by both a cognitive and a performative point of view.
