The Student Association – UDU Padua (Union of University students), on the contest of Next, the Engineering Festival (from 11 to 13 May at Porta Portello) in collaboration with Science the Science Toolbox Festival taking place between May 9 and May 11 at various Science Departments of the University of Padua, organizes some events on May 12.
The first, Disability and inclusivity in engineering: an achievable perspective?, is at 5 p.m.
In dialogue on the theme of aspects that affect the psychological well-being within the University, especially in competitive environments such as the School of Engineering: Sergio (admin of the Instagram page “Ingegneria del Sucidio”), Andrea Paolini (engineer and influencer) and the researcher Giulia Crisci.
The second event, How to survive: Ingegneria edition, is at 7 p.m.
How to truly include students with disabilities in an extremely competitive environment such as the university environment? Giacomo Cutrera (representing AID), Paola Bressan (professor at the University of Padua) and Barbara Arfè (Rector’s Delegate for Inclusion) will discuss the topic.
At 9.30 p.m., the concert of the band PolarMonkeys, at Porta Portello.
The events are part of the review of initiatives organized by the Union of University Students as part of the 800th Anniversary Celebrations.
